What are Instagram Highlights?
A Highlight is a Story that did not disappear. Instagram deletes a Story 24 hours after posting, but an account can pin it to the profile under a round cover, where it stays until the owner removes it. Highlights are how brands keep their FAQ, price lists, reviews and event recaps visible, and that is exactly what people want to save — a set that took months to build and can vanish with one tap from the owner.

Open SSSInstagram in Safari and paste the profile link. iOS asks what to do with each file: choose "Download" and it goes to the Files app, folder "Downloads". Where is the downloaded highlight saved on my device?
On Android and on a computer the files go to the browser's "Downloads" folder, and on Android they also appear in the gallery. On iPhone they land in the Files app under "Downloads", and videos can be moved into Photos through the share icon. The downloads list in your browser always shows the exact path.
Why does nothing load when I paste the link?
Most often the profile is private — highlights behind a private account are not available to anyone but approved followers. Also check that the link points to the profile or to the highlight itself, not to a single story frame from the app preview. If the page is public and still nothing appears, an ad blocker may be stopping the request: try a private browser window.
Can I download Highlights from a private account?
No. Instagram shows highlights of a private profile only to approved followers, and that restriction stays on their side. We work with public accounts only.
What is the difference between Highlights and Stories?
A Story is live for 24 hours and then disappears. A Highlight is a Story pinned to the profile, so it stays until the owner deletes it. If the content you want is still in the 24-hour window, use our Instagram Story Saver instead — it takes the whole day's set at once.
Does the account owner see that I downloaded their highlight?
No. The request goes to Instagram from our server, not from your account. You do not appear in the viewer list and no notification is sent.
